The Sustainability World Cup is an online course AND competition. It is a great way to learn about sustainability and how to use it to grow a business more sustainably. It is also a competition where you can win some fantastic awards. These awards will help the world recognize your sustainability talent and help you develop a more sustainability-driven career.
All participants who finish the course will get certificates of completion, which they can add to their learning credentials.

Timing
The program will run as an online sprint over 2 days, plus an introductory webinar beforehand and a post-game debrief afterwards. The full details for this year’s Sustainability World Cup (SWC) are as follows:
- Friday 11th Sep, 2-4pm CET: Introduction Webinar
- Tuesday 15th Sep, 2-8pm CET: SWC Team Sprint (Day 1)
- Wednesday 16th Sep, 2-8pm CET: SWC Team Sprint and Awards (Day 2)
- Tuesday 22nd Sep, 2-5pm CET: Game Insights and Experts’ Roundtable
All times are in Central European Time. Note that all entries must be received by Monday 31st August.
Your time commitment
You will need to devote about 16 hours of effort over the program including 12 hours for the Team Sprint.
Teamwork and sharing your email
You will be working online in a small team. Previous participants have told us that this is one of the greatest benefits as you will be able to get to know other people with a similar interest in the subject. However, please note that in order to form the team, we will need to share your chosen email address with your fellow team-mates. If you are unwilling to do this, you cannot participate.

There are two participant levels: Standard and Premium. Both levels allow participants to compete, learn and be eligible for all the awards and certificates. However, the Premium Level provides additional opportunities to engage with experts and promotion opportunities.
